When I got a job in Waltham Forest as a drug education coordinator it was a new and fascinating world to land in! I first saw Liz on the big stage, helping is to understand the importance of health education. She was a leader in the field and her and Pete Saunders book , Knowing you, knowing me, was an inspiration to me as a fledgling educator.

As time went on and meeting each other at conferences, I got to know Liz as a colleague and like minded friend. A lovely, creative soul who was a writer at her core. I feel privileged to have known her.
